Puzzle Box (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a single-player tile-matching puzzle game for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what happens to information when you use the app.

By using Puzzle Box, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Summary

The app is designed to work without an account and without sending your game data to our servers. We do not operate in-app advertising or third-party analytics SDKs in this version of the app. Your progress and settings are kept locally on your device.

2. Information stored on your device

The app stores small amounts of data locally using Android’s app storage (via libGDX preferences), including:

This data is not tied to your name, email, or phone number because the app does not ask for those details. It remains on the device unless removed by you, the system, or a backup/restore process as described below.

3. Internet, accounts, and analytics

Puzzle Box does not require you to sign in. The app does not include third-party advertising or analytics libraries in its codebase and does not declare general network permissions for app functionality.

Your device or Google Play may still process certain technical or usage information according to Google’s policies (for example, install, update, or crash reporting on the platform side). That processing is governed by Google’s documentation and your device/Google account settings, not by code we run inside the game for tracking you across apps.

4. Permissions

The app uses Android features needed to run a fullscreen landscape game (for example, OpenGL ES). It does not request location, contacts, microphone, camera, or phone permissions for game features. If you grant any permission in the future through an app update, we will update this policy accordingly.

5. Backup and deletion

The application is configured to allow Android’s standard backup behavior where supported. Backups may include the app’s private data folder according to your device and Google account backup settings.

You can clear local app data or uninstall Puzzle Box to remove on-device stored preferences at any time (exact steps depend on your Android version).

6. Children’s privacy

Puzzle Box is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not prompt for signup or for personal details. If you believe we need to address a specific concern, contact us using the email below.

7. International users

If you use the app outside your home country, your device vendor or platform providers may process data in other regions under their own terms.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes (for example, if new features store data or use new services). We will revise the “Last updated” date above for material changes. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
